The liturgies were written to be spoken. Here is how churches and small groups are using them, and what you are free to do with them.
Ways to use a liturgy
- Call to worship. Read the Scripture section aloud, one passage per reader, with the congregation standing.
- Confession and assurance. A Reminder of God’s Grace in the Aftermath of Sin and Hope for a Wandering Heart move naturally from confession to assurance.
- A word for the week. Print the devotional on the back of the bulletin or send it in the midweek email.
- Small groups. Read the Scripture, sit in silence for two minutes, then read the devotional and talk.
- With children. The Liturgies for Littles are short enough for bedtime and honest enough for a hard day at school.
Printing and screens
Every liturgy page has a Print for your church button. It prints the title, the Scripture with citations, and the devotional on clean pages with the required ESV notice. For slides, copy the Scripture with the Copy Scripture button; each passage keeps its citation.
Permissions
You may read, print, and project any liturgy for worship and teaching at no cost. Please keep the citations and the ESV notice intact, and credit Beautiful Liturgies when you print. For recordings, reuse in published materials, or anything commercial, write to hello@beautifulliturgies.com.
